Our Humane Hero Program is designed to allow kids 14 and younger to get involved with the Austin Humane Society and our mission to help animals. Kids have fun while learning about pet care & making an impact on the lives of cats and dogs in our community looking to find their forever homes.

Host your child’s birthday with an unforgettable party!
Celebrate with our onsite shelter event featuring an adoptable meet & greet and a behind-the-scenes tour. Kids will enjoy fun activities like temporary tattoos, coloring, and interactive play.
